Storage Solutions for Pet Products

Hi everyone, it’s Genna again, the Visual Merchandiser at IKEA Houston!

So, the holidays are over and everyone is getting back to life as usual. It is time to clean and organize after a busy holiday season. And as I put things away this year, I find myself in need of something a little different… storage solutions for all my pets’ toys!

After looking around the local pet stores and online, I can’t find anything that has the aesthetic I’m going for. Just because I have pets doesn’t mean I want my storage to have paw prints all over it! I want something simple, easy to use and easy to clean that will blend in with the rest of our home and will allow me to easily pick up after them.

So, for your sake and mine, I have put together a list of my top 5 favorite IKEA products to put away all of Fido and Fluffy’s (even Goldie’s) food and toys.

TRONES comes in a pack of 3, that you can hang it on the wall to put treats or toys away and still have extras for your shoes. The bins are also easy to remove if you needed to clean them.

VESSLA is a children’s storage bin. It has wheels and stacks so pet food or litter could fit easily in and be rolled away out of sight.

KASSETT boxes are some of my favorites. They range in sizes so anything from fish food to bags of cat food could be stored.

BÄSTIS hooks look like dog tails so they are perfect for Fido’s leash.

SAMLA stacking bins have lids that easily flip up to access food or toys.

Personally, I am going with the TRONES so that each pet can have their own storage box. Happy New Year and happy organizing!
