IKEA Houston is proud to support Komen Houston Race for the Cure®

Saturday, September 15th  10am - 2pm

People of all ages are encouraged to attend this special “Pink” Saturday, with exciting scavenger hunts through IKEA Houston for 22 FREE Race registrations every hour.

Ralliers will be able to register for this year’s Race, meet other Race teams and show their support for another great Race season.  In addition, participants will assist Komen Houston in continuing it’s commitment to raise funds and award grants, serving as a leader in the fight against breast cancer in its seven-county service area – providing THE BEST SCIENCE, THE BOLDEST COMMUNITY, and making THE BIGGEST IMPACT.

In the Affiliate’s 22 year history, it has granted over $9 million for research nationally and over $28 million for community grants in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty and Montgomery counties. The Affiliate’s granting process ensures the impartial allocation of funds to qualified 501c3 organizations helping countless breast cancer survivors and their families get the treatment and support they need.

Pet Adoptions

Sunday, September 23rd  11am - 3pm, adopt a friend for life!

Each month IKEA Houston will host the Friends For Life Mobile Adoption Vehicle (MAV). The MAV is a state of the art 26 foot adoption display/transport vehicle that houses 28 animals in air conditioned comfort. "Takin’ it to the street" and bringing animals to guests at IKEA Houston.

The Mission Statement of Friends For Life is to provide a No Kill option to the Houston community by rescuing, treating and re-homing animals within the No Kill model of sheltering.

SAGOSTUND (Storytime) Tuesdays

Tuesdays in the Restaurant  12pm - 2pm

Every Tuesday is SAGOSTUND (Storytime)  from 12:00pm - 2:00pm! Join us for SAGOSTUND in the IKEA restaurant. Storytellers, magicians and more. All ages are welcome and KIDS EAT FREE every Tuesday all day!
